A quality, precise and individually unique product that suits contemporary or heritage architecture. The octagonal profile is solid and reassuring while being lightweight and soft to touch. The forged door pulls are crafted using trade-based processes; forging, machining, welding and hand painting.
Steel is heated to 980o Celcius and hand forged using industrial tooling to create the octagonal form. Forging by hand enhances the quality of the material, each hammer mark remains as a memory of time. The hand machined fixing off hardware is assembled onto the handle using a jig – creating uniformity and precision that can be replicated time and time again.
The door pulls are abrasive blasted and epoxy painted to Australian Standard® (AS/NZS 2312) for atmospheric corrosion protection. This is a durable finish that will age well, is practical to clean and may be easily repaired if damaged.
This product is best used in-conjunction with door closure hardware such as roller bolts and dead locks. It is suitable for back-to-back fixing through steel, timber, aluminium and glass doors.
